Edwin G. Chaplin

Founder and President

Edwin G. Chaplin brings a lifetime of diverse experience, customer service, and considerable skills to CNX Worldwide clients.

Prior to launching CNX Worldwide, Ed was an award-winning Director of Network Services for a major national electronics company, Vice President of a multi-million-dollar construction firm that designed and built all-suite hotels throughout the U.S., was Founder of a company that designed and installed cabling infrastructure, and was President of an electrical company with commercial, residential, service, and data divisions.

Additionally, Ed has taught computer cabling and networking hardware to private corporations and educational organizations.

Since 2002, CNX Worldwide has built a sizable and loyal customer base, completing thousands of projects over the past several decades. CNX specializes in Design, Project Management and Installation of Network Infrastructure, Data Rooms, Wi-Fi, Security Systems, and all devices in the IT rooms for companies in numerous locations including the United States, Canada, China, South Korea, India, Australia, and the Philippines

Dan Del Campo  

Senior Project Manager

Managed the physical security function for 40 years for Northern Trust Bank and its national subsidiaries.

Responsibilities included physical security risk assessments, security site reviews, physical security best practices, physical security systems, security-related projects throughout North America, support and monitoring of security systems abroad (design, specifications, bid reviews, recommendations) and was accountable for the performance management process and staffing for the unit.

Developed security programs in compliance with federal and state regulations and oversaw implementation of programs, as well as assisted in investigations.

Reviewed research and analysis of security equipment and presented proposals to upper management. Provided support for security systems on a global basis.

Maintained a network with outside law enforcement agencies and committees, e.g., ASIS, BOMA, ChicagoFIRST, Illinois Security Professionals.

Acted as the financial officer for the security function on a global basis, which included developing expense and capital plans and staff planning.

Ken Mars

Senior Project Manager

An outstanding Project Manager, Ken was responsible for maintaining the desktop and banking technology environment for 14 national offices and was responsible for new office buildouts for the Northeast and Midwest US, including a 60-seat disaster recovery facility.

Ken is a dedicated, detail-oriented IT professional with more than 20 years of experience, a proven ability to maximize system performance through custom configurations, precise troubleshooting, and timely user support.

With strong leadership qualities, Ken is able to direct, motivate, and supervise personnel to achieve maximum productivity, using logical, rational judgment with a talent for understanding and evaluating many aspects of a problem and focusing on key issues.

Ken also has a successful track record of managing complex networks with diverse operating systems.

Jorge Cordoba

Senior Project Manager

Jorge has been in the Infrastructure/Telecommunications Industry for 28 years.  Starting as a helper, Jorge moved up to Journeyman, then to Superintendant, and finally to Project Manager.  He’s been working for CNX for 10 years.

Mike Guttello

Senior Project Manager

Mike began his career as a Union Apprentice in 1998 and began working in-house for NBC. From there, he moved on to work as a Service Technician with many high-profile jobs coming his way from PGA to Sports Stadium events. 

Currently, alongside his Project Management work for CNX Worldwide, Mike does work for a major banking establishment in the areas of Fiber Optics, Structured Wiring, Network Installation, Consulting and On-Site Supervision.

Kate Lane   

Director of Marketing

Kate Lane has spent most of her adult life as a promoter, publicist, public relations professional, and marketing maven.

She says, "It’s in my DNA." From coordinating special events at a public relations firm in NYC to doing publicity for NY Times best-selling authors; from running her own marketing firm in Austin, TX to teaching business owners how to think like a marketing pro, she has run the gamut in the field. She's pleased to represent CNX Worldwide during this phase of her life.

Virginia ‘Jenny’ Bell      

Research Associate

Jenny's understanding of systems began with her active duty and reserve experience as an officer in the USN Nurse Corp, including responsibility as a Command Substance Abuse Officer.

After military service, her nursing career and expertise grew to include responsibility for development, implementation and management of quality, safety, risk and compliance of health care systems in Louisiana.

With over 25 years in healthcare, Jenny transitioned into corporate healthcare IT with Quantros, Inc where she worked from the company's start up through growth as a market leader. Her many roles at Quantros included a focus on system design, professional services and subject matter expertise in patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance reporting for healthcare.

Vic Errington    

IT Consultant   

Vic Errington has had a love affair with computers since his introduction to them while attaining his English degree in University. 

An award-winning poet and writer and former soldier in the British Army, Vic now focuses mainly on his Video Editing while maintaining the technical aspects of CNX Worldwide’s back office.
